This adapter allows Cardo Freecom or Spirit intercom units to be mounted directly to NEXX helmets equipped with the X-COM3 communication mount. Instead of using adhesive pads or clamp mounts, the adapter installs into the helmet's existing communication slot, creating a clean and secure mounting solution.
By using the factory mounting location, the intercom sits closer to the helmet and maintains a more integrated look. It also avoids common issues riders experience with adhesive mounts, such as peeling, shifting, or difficulty mounting to curved helmet shells.
Each adapter is 3D printed from carbon fiber reinforced PA12 nylon, a strong engineering material chosen for its durability and excellent impact resistance. It is designed to handle real riding conditions and holds up well to vibration, sun exposure, and changing weather and contains at least 50% recycled material to reduce environmental impact.
Installation takes only a few seconds. Simply insert the adapter into the X-COM3 mounting location, which then provides a mounting point for the Cardo cradle used by compatible Freecom and Spirit systems.
